People Magazine have announced their annual list of the snappiest dressers in showbiz and, as usual, the women's list is brimming with the world's hottest stars, from musicians to actresses to everyone's favourite royal, the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Man Repeller blogger Leandara Medine says of Rihanna's experimental wardrobe, 'It seems like her style comes from somewhere internal - that's something you can't imitate.' Her love-it-or-hate-it dress sense, whether she's rocking it street-style in London (see left) or embodying cool elegance on the red carpet (right) has earned her the title of this year's 'Risky Renegade'

Hollywood it-girl Emma Stone has been everywhere this year and we, for one, cannot get enough of her. She's smart, she's funny, she's super-cute and she has an ultra-sexy husky voice. Oh, and she's dating the equally adorable Andrew Garfield. People Magazine have named her this year's 'Red-Carpet Ruler' for the way the flame-haired star has been lighting up awards shows and premieres everywhere.

Wow, The Kardashians made this year's list?! It's true what they say, those girls just do get everywhere! Kourtney, Khloe and Kim - so coordinated they even match initials - was nominated by Barneys creative ambassador Simon Doonan for their impressive command of towering heels, lavish lashes and skin-tight dresses. ('So what if your pancreas gets a bit squished?', asks Doonan). He also commends this year's 'Brunette Bombshells' for never being 'pretentious' - and we certainly won't argue with that

German-born Inglourious Basterds star Diane Kruger is a former model, so it's no wonder she looks so at home in haute couture. She's been named as this year's 'High-Fashion Pro'

She's had some stumbles along the way - who can forget that misjudged gothic disaster from the 2002 Oscars - but Gwyneth Paltrow has made it the top of the list as 'The World's Best-Dressed Woman'. Quite an accolade! She's an actress, a singer and a cook but, in the words of People magazine, 'Gwyneth Paltrow is a fashion plate first and foremost. Her red carpet skills are unparalleled, always arriving in unexpected, yet chic looks.'

The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence was singled out as this year's 'Best Rising Star'. At just 22 she already has total command of her personal style and we expect to see some amazing outfits from her in the years to come. 'She doesn't let the clothes wear her,' said College Fashion blogger Zephyr Basine.

All-American girl Jessica Alba looks incredible on the red carpet - just see above - but her natural beauty means that she's also the queen of dressed-down style. She's been named as this year's 'Jean Queen'

Reese Witherspoon is celebrated as this year's 'Hot Mama' for her cute, well put-together maternity style. Whether out for a stroll in a jersey dress and flats or glamming it up Grecian-style on the red carpet, she's got the pregnancy chic thing nailed

Supermodel Miranda Kerr, and lucky Orlando Bloom's other half, would look smokin' hot dressed in a burlap sack, so it's all the more sickening that she's a stylish dresser too. She clearly loves fashion, and always looks effortlessly polished,' said Who What Wear editor Hilary Kerr, who nominated Miranda as this year's 'Street Style Pro'. We're sure they're no relation, though

Last but not the least is the pretty duchess.It can't have been easy, marrying into the British royal family and suddenly becoming the entire's world's go-to girl for demure elegance and classic beauty but, damn it, the woman formerly known as Kate Middleton has pulled it off. We particularly loved this hand-painted silk kimono-style dress by Jenny Packham she wore when visiting Singapore earlier this week - the Duchess sure knows how to do tropical chic.
