It’s Jay-Z‘s 42nd birthday, and the rapper and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records has a LOT to celebrate!


In a world where few celebrity couples are able to make it for the long haul, Jay-Z and his beautiful wife Beyonce, 30, prove every day just why they’re still going strong. The couple have been together since 2002; they dated for six years before finally getting engaged, then tied the knot half a year later. Despite their busy schedules, the expectant parents take the time to enjoy the little things together – especially basketball! They never seem to miss an NBA All-Star Game!


As if being married to one of the hottest singers out there wasn’t enough cause to celebrate, Jay-Z has a baby on the way. The couple is staying quiet about the baby’s gender, but boy or girl, we’re sure their baby will be absolutely adorable.

He’ll also be celebrating the Grammy nominations that his collaborations with Kanye West just received! “Otis” is nominated for best song, and their joint LP “Watch the Throne” earned a nomination for Best Rap Album. Beyonce got a Grammy nomination in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category for “Party” with Andre 3000.
